Safari & beach itineraries deliberately combine two different rhythms: wildlife and early starts on the mainland, followed by unhurried time on the coast or islands. The point is not simply to add a beach at the end, but to let the second half of the trip feel genuinely different from the first.
How the combination works
A typical route spends several days in a wildlife destination before moving to the coast or Zanzibar. The mainland section is built around parks, guiding and game drives; the beach section can be as active or as quiet as you want, from Stone Town and spice tours to diving, snorkelling and completely unstructured days.
Popular combinations
Tanzania and Zanzibar is the most natural pairing, but Kenya’s coast can follow a Maasai Mara safari, and Zanzibar can be combined with Uganda or Rwanda when a primate-focused trip needs a slower finish.
Planning a Safari & Beach trip
Tell us whether the wildlife or the coast is the main priority, how much time you have, and the level of accommodation you want at each end. We will build the transition as one connected itinerary rather than two separate holidays.
